Ana-María Alarcón-Jiménez, INET-MD, Universidade Nova de Lisboa

Ana-María Alarcón-Jiménez is a research assistant and a doctoral student at the Instituto de Etnomusicologia, Música e Dança of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). She has researched and studied at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY), the University of California in San Diego, the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, USA), and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She has been awarded full scholarships by all the above mentioned institutions. Alarcón-Jiménez is contributor of the Society of Ethnomusicology Student Union Blog and co-director of the FAT, experimental music festival, in Burgos, Spain.
